One of the things I do for the teachers at my school each week is provide a useful educational site for use by students, teachers, and/or parents.   I  figured I may as well bring that to a wider audience with my blog now, so  here are the sites I found for this week.  I will also be working to add a page to the blog with the sites I’ve collected so far this year.  Look for that soon!

Count Us In Games

Figure This!

Both of these are math sites, with the Count Us In site more appropriate for younger students and the Figure This site is directed towards middle school students.  These are good for students needing practice on a variety of skills.  However, if someone knows of some more interactive sites for student math please let me know.  Namely, I’d like to find sites that get students communicating with others about their mathematical learning.
